The Founders of Quietly Glorious - “Who we are”

Who We Are

Quietly Glorious was founded by a family — not a brand agency, not a boardroom. Just us: a husband, a wife, and two teenage daughters who wanted to turn our everyday conversations about life into something that mattered.

We’re not hiding behind glossy headshots because QG isn’t about faces. It’s about all of us. It’s about the people who rarely get recognised but keep showing up anyway.

Proud to Be Average

We’re not perfect. We’ve had good seasons and bad, tears and laughter, tough days when we wanted to give up, and small wins that meant the world.

Around our kitchen table, we’ve asked the same questions many of you have probably asked: What are we doing in this world? Where do we fit? Why does it feel like only the extremes — the celebrities, the heroes, the disasters — get talked about?

The truth is, real life isn’t lived on red carpets or front pages. It’s lived in the middle. It’s lived by the 99% — the uncelebrated majority. Parents holding it together. Workers clocking in. Friends checking in when no one else does. People striving to be a little better today than they were yesterday.

That’s where Quietly Glorious was born — from a simple belief that this everyday effort deserves to be recognised.

A Community, Not a Charity

We get asked why we didn’t make QG a charity. The honest answer? Because charities rely on sympathy. We don’t want sympathy. We want strength.

Quietly Glorious isn’t about asking for donations — it’s about building something that can stand on its own two feet. That’s why we registered as a company: to reinvest every penny into growing this movement, this brand, and this community. To create a platform strong enough to reach millions, not just those already listening.

We don’t want Quietly Glorious to survive because people feel sorry for us. We want it to thrive because people believe in it. Because they see themselves in it. Because they know they’re part of it.

Family Effort, Shared Voice

Every one of us plays a role. One writes, one designs, one answers messages, one keeps spirits up. It’s all done in the margins of everyday life — after work, before bed, between school runs and dinner plates.

This is not a polished empire. It’s messy. It’s real. It’s built from conversations, cups of tea, arguments, hugs, and trying again.

QG is our way of saying to the world: you don’t have to do it all, you just have to keep showing up.

Join the Journey

Quietly Glorious is for every woman, every man, every teenager who has ever whispered “I can’t do this today”… but then did it anyway.

It’s for mothers who keep a family running when no one’s clapping. It’s for fathers carrying weight no one sees. It’s for kids learning resilience the hard way. It’s for anyone who has ever felt average but knows, deep down, that showing up is extraordinary.

You can be part of this, in your own way:

  • Share your “why.”
  • Reach out and connect.
  • Wear the apparel as your badge of belonging.
  • Pass it on to a friend who needs it.
  • Or even help us grow this movement.

Quietly Glorious isn’t a brand we own. It’s a community we belong to — together.

Much love for reading, for showing up, for being part of the 99%.

Let’s keep moving forward — quietly, but gloriously.
