Why I Started Quietly Glorious

By EJay

Hi, I’m Ellie.….Or EJay, depending on who you’re asking.

I’m now 18, I have a passion for art, design, music and just creating stuff.

Somewhere between studying, working and trying to figure out what I’m doing with my life, I started Quietly Glorious.

Not because I had some genius business idea.

Because I felt like I didn’t fit anywhere.

Everyone Looks Like They’ve Got It Figured Out

Scroll through social media for five minutes and you’ll see it.

  • Perfect lives.
  • Perfect bodies.
  • Perfect holidays.
  • Perfect careers.
  • Perfect relationships.

Apparently everyone is living their best life except you.

At least that’s how it can feel.

The reality?

Most people are making it up as they go. Most people are still figuring things out. Most people are nowhere near as confident as they look online.

So Where Does That Leave The Rest Of Us?

The people who aren’t influencers. The people who don’t have thousands of followers. The people who don’t wake up looking like they’ve just stepped out of a photoshoot. The people who are still working things out.

People like me. People like most of my friends. People like most of the world.

That’s who Quietly Glorious is for.

What Quietly Glorious Means

It’s not about being the loudest person in the room. It’s not about pretending everything is perfect. It’s not about being famous.

It’s about showing up. It’s about being comfortable being yourself. It’s about understanding that your value isn’t measured by likes, followers or what other people think of you. It’s about knowing that being ordinary isn’t something to fix.

Because honestly?

Average is underrated.

Why I Started It

I wanted to create something that felt real. A brand that didn’t tell people who they should be. A brand that reminded people they’re already enough.

Not perfect - Not finished - Not flawless.…………Just real.

And that’s more than enough.

If You’re Reading This

Maybe you’re at university. Maybe you’re working. Maybe you’re doing both.

Maybe you’ve got absolutely no idea what comes next.

Trust me, you’re not the only one, nobody has it all figured out, despite what Instagram might tell you.

So take the pressure off.

Keep showing up - Keep trying - Keep being yourself.

That’s all any of us are doing.…………….And honestly?

That’s pretty glorious.

Average Is Underrated.
